Pottersville New York: About This Site

This website was started in June 2022. I started out years ago doing travel and tourism sites for the Adirondacks with first NY Route 30: The Adirondack Trail in 2002, then AdirondackNorthway.com in 2005. I based those sites on the major routes going through their regions. It was doing the latter site that I got to know Pottersville and some of the local business people. Pottersville seems neglected. It is in the Town of Chester but 10 miles away from Chestertown and near Schroon Lake Lake but totally over-shadowed by Schroon Lake 10 miles up the road. Now I want to focus my attention on a more compact area , just a good little community not a whole region or a road.

I want to enhance not only the businesses in Pottersville and help out tourists and visitors to the area, but I want to enhance the whole community. I admit I am not a local resident of the area and do want to make a few bucks off this site, but money is not my primary motive.
